12 Months Warranty Statement

HOMESMART One Warranty Statement

General Warranty Coverage

HOMESMART hereby warrants to the original purchaser that its cabinetry, door hinges, and drawer glides shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service conditions for a period of one year. This warranty is strictly non-transferable and applies solely to products utilized for residential purposes.

Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty excludes normal wear and tear, as well as any damage or defects arising from accidents, misuse, abuse, or lack of necessary maintenance. Furthermore, it does not cover alterations, modifications, improper installation, improper handling/storage, environmental conditions, or any associated labor expenses. Special orders, clearance orders, and discontinued items are also excluded from this warranty.

Repair or Replacement Options

In the event of a warranty claim, HOMESMART has the discretion to choose to repair or replace the defective product with a functionally equivalent one. Please note that some replacement parts may differ from the original parts due to availability. In certain cases, the return of the defective product may be required for the issuance of a replacement.

Expense Responsibility

While repair or replacement parts are provided at the expense of HOMESMART, the customer shall bear all other expenses associated with the warranty claim. These expenses may include, but are not limited to, the cost of removing and reinstalling the product, as well as any labor expenses.

Natural Variations and Environmental Factors

Please be advised that the natural variations in color and grain pattern of wood contribute to its unique beauty and are not considered imperfections. Additionally, environmental factors such as artificial or natural light, moisture, cleaners, smoke, and the like, may cause cabinets to darken or mellow over time. This is a natural process and should be expected. Low moisture conditions may also cause joints to open.

Additional Considerations

Certain cabinet lines feature a glazed finish that enhances the appearance of door and drawer fronts. This glaze is applied manually over a stain or paint and may, due to the nature of the application process, exhibit random drips. Such variations are considered part of the product's aesthetic appeal and are not indicative of defects.

This warranty is valid only in the United States of America and is not transferable. To the extent permitted by law, this warranty excludes special, incidental, or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
